NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation have manufactured a sample detector vacuum chamber & isolation valve assembly for an iconic Australian scientific research organisation. This project involved engineering design, materials sourcing, manufacture, precision inspection by way of innovative techniques and delivery of the sample detector. The chamber and various mechanisms were manufactured from special grade aluminium, this required very critical welding, precision machining and intricate assembly and testing to meet the client’s stringent requirements.
